A pilot randomized controlled study was conducted to determine the effect of a jump rope and ball combined exercise program on the physical fitness the neurotransmitters level of children with the ADHD. Participants were 12 boys, whose grade level ranged from 1-4. Program consisted of 6 wks exercise which included 10 mts warm-up, 40 mts main exercise and 10 mts cool down performed for three times a week, for a total of 12 weeks. Exercise group showed a significant improvement in cardio-respiratory endurance, muscle strength, muscle endurance and flexibility for 12 weeks (Lee SK. 2015). Positive effects of yoga have been shown in children with mental health problems, eating disorders and irritable bowel syndrome.
